- South Keidar sold North Keidar to the Lord Undying for a phenomenal amount of money. However, that money had been created by strange magics, and so dissolved later on. It was a ruinously foolish sale.

- North Keidar was smitten by the gods and abandoned by the elements. Only undead will ever be able to live there again.

Five Facts about North Keidar
For your OC reference, or IC if your character has entered North Keidar and survived. For characters from North Keidar before it was invaded by undead, refer to South Keidar. Characters should not hail from North Keidar after the undead invasion without explicit ref consent and input.
- An Undead Monarch: The Nightmare Queen was once a very successful but heretical Queen of Keidar in years gone by. Buried in an unmarked grave, the Lord Undying nonetheless found her body and resummoned her unquiet shade.
- Vengeful Heavens: After the undead invasion in 1307, a great lance of power shot from the sky, blasting a great crater into the ground and wracking the earth. Great chasms twist through the formerly peaceful landscape, and the earthquake thus caused shook all of Alvaron. None know if it will happen again…
- Magic’s Death: Although North Keidar seemed entirely normal before the undead invasion, its landscape is now imbued with a strange metallic dust, and all surviving iron and steel seems to hold a strange sheen. Magic is useless, and those who do not take precautions to avoid breathing the dust may sicken.
- Liege Lord: The Nightmare Queen owes her kingdom and her allegiance to the Lord Undying, and is pledged to fight for her should she ever be called.
- Legacy of Mists: The Nightmare Queen’s history does not match with historical records of the world beyond Keidar’s borders…
