The Morocco Accords

The Morocco Accords

Signed on this, the 9th May 1305

In the sight of the gods who watch all dealings, and in order to promote cooperation and to ensure peace, the following accord is struck between the kingdom of Morocco and the realm of Durholme:

In the event that anyone within the realm of Durholme should seek to make great and significant changes upon the nature, influence, existence or similar of any divine or elemental realm or the beings therein, or any other change of metaphysical importance, the government of Durholme shall both inform and seek the advice of the Sultan of Morocco before authorising or proceeding upon any such course of action.

In the event that the Sultan of Morocco or those authorised by them should seek to make or orchestrate great and significant changes upon the nature, influence, existence or similar of any divine or elemental realm or the beings therein, or any other change of metaphysical importance, they shall first inform the government of Durholme of their intentions in these matters.

It is the duty of the nation instigating the planned metaphysical changes to ensure that the other nation has time to respond to the plans before they are carried out. Both nations shall work towards arranging and ensuring smooth and quick communications between the two governments.

In circumstances where such communication before action was rendered impossible, the offending nation shall make haste to inform their fellow accord-member of what transpired as soon as possible.

Other signatories may be added to this accord with the consent of Durholme and Morocco and that of a representative of the new signatory. New signatories shall be bound by the accord’s other terms.

This accord should not be taken to cover the actions of illegal or unauthorised parties in either nation who take it upon themselves to meddle in the affairs of a metaphysical nature without the agreement, tacit or otherwise, of their governments, and such actions shall not be taken to have breached this accord.

Should this accord be broken, may the gods who watch over carrion, who stir violence and who feed on strife bring ruin upon the heads of the nation that breached its terms.

Signed, under the gaze of the powers beyond,

Queen Tia Page, Ruler of the Realm of Durholme

Lord Alandi Osman, Ambassador from Morocco
