Directions

The banquet is taking place at Moor House Scout Camp, just outside Durham.

By Car

Moor House is located on the A690. Coming from Durham City, go to Hild Bede Roundabout, and take the exit marked ‘A1’, heading for the A1 roundabout (J62). Go straight over the roundabout, and onto the A690 to Sunderland. Go up the road for about a mile, and turn left – it’s a sharp turn just before the 50mph limit sign. Head down the road and turn left towards the Scout Camp. There is parking on site.

A sketch map is provided (right); alternatively, the camp is marked on the Ordnance Survey map as ‘Moor Ho’, and the layby where you come off the road is marked (Multimap link).

By Taxi

A taxi from Durham city should cost about 6 pounds. We will be meeting as usual at the Court Inn in Durham before the Banquet, so you can find people there to share with.

By Bus

Both the 220 and the 222 run directly to the site.
