Banquet

The annual Treasure Trap Banquet, an extravaganza of amazing food, wonderful music, dancing until your glass slippers turn back into pumpkins, singing until the sun comes up (or not, if you need your sleep), and a traditionally silly non-canon LARP event known as the Pre-Banquet Bash! Bunks can be booked between days, with priority to those who really need them, but it is very near Durham and many people simply bus back and forth.

• Friday night: Games of all tabletop varieties. Join whatever’s going around, or bring your own! Food will not be served, so usually a group of people order pizza.
• Saturday morning / afternoon: Serve it Forth, our beloved and excellent caterers, begin work on their incredible food and the organisers and a few volunteers decorate the great hall, while everyone else steps out for the Pre-Banquet Bash!
• Saturday Evening to whenever you fall asleep: Music, dancing, more music, then an incredible multi-course banquet that uses recipes from days of yore and also around the world! Followed by music and singing into the wee hours.
• Sunday morning: TIDY-UP! We ask everyone who enjoyed Banquet to please stay and help us clear up the site! It’s not fair to dump all the tidying on the lovely people who worked like heck to make this possible; please, before you leave, help them out!
