We are delighted to announce Durham University Treasure Trap’s FORTIETH ANNIVERSARY BANQUET!
We’re celebrating four decades since the society was founded in 1983 – initially to take students to the original Treasure Trap at Peckforton Castle, then developing into what we believe is the world’s longest-running live roleplay group.
We’ll be celebrating with a wealth of historical food prepared by our in-house expert historical caterers, Serve It Forth. There will also be drinks, music, stories, commemorative items, and much more.
We would love to make this a gathering of people from across the 40 years of the society, and also welcome guests from other Treasure Traps and associated societies, as well as anyone else who would like to join us in celebration!
As ever, the main event will be on Saturday night, but this will be as part of a weekend of events at the site – including a very special on-site LARP in the Saturday daytime – so do come for the whole weekend if you can. (There is some on-site accommodation available, or hotels nearby.)
