SUMMARY:Chat & Stat
DESCRIPTION:Interested in Treasure Trap? Come along to this very informal\, out of character event where we can help you stat your first character and chat with you about the setting! There will also be plenty of costume for you to look through and dress your character in. Once you choose an outfit\, it will be labelled and stored separately so other characters can’t take it\, guaranteeing you’ll always have some in-character clothes for every event. \n\n\n\nThis event may update when we receive our room bookings. It’s currently been assumed that we’ll be given our usual booking slot.

SUMMARY:Freshers' Adventure: A Bandit By Any Other Name
DESCRIPTION:Various people travelling with a trade caravan split off and set out to Durholme\, but their journey will not be without hardship\, for Rovac is a lawless land and there are strange happenings afoot. \n\n\n\nGet a taste for the world and the characters of Treasure Trap in this first adventure of term! This adventure is exclusively for people who haven’t adventured with us before. We will meet at the DSU car park\, where you will be given in-character clothes\, armour\, and weapons for your character\, then head up to the woods for the adventure proper. Wear sensible mud-proof shoes and plain clothes without visible logos to go under your in-character clothing. \n\n\n\nCharacters can have been created at Chat & Stat\, can have been pre-made by you from the website and get signed off by a ref\, or can be created on the day if you weren’t able to attend and weren’t confident statting on your own. A ref will stay with your party at all times to answer any questions and help you out with the system.

SUMMARY:Interactive 1: Welcome to Durholme!
DESCRIPTION:Every Monday\, the notables of Durholme gather in the world’s most abused tavern\, the Greedy Goblin. Join old characters and new in the wildest tavern in the world: make friends (or enemies); look for a Guild to suit your character’s interests and a Temple to suit their beliefs; find out more about Durholme; and even chat to the King (he’s quite approachable\, actually). But don’t trust that all will be peaceful\, because there’s always something happening in Durholme… \n\n\n\nThis event may update when we receive our room bookings. It’s currently been assumed that we’ll be given our regular slot.

SUMMARY:Adventure 2: The Pirate Bay | Level 3
DESCRIPTION:A party set out from Durholme to investigate some treasure buried by demonic pirates… \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nIf your character is not going on this adventure\, we ask you to please “monster” it (help play the NPC roles alongside the rest of the society). Monstering is a fun job: you get to play various roles\, some serious and some silly\, in which you talk to the party and/or fight them\, and it doesn’t affect your character in the slightest even if you die… but you do gain precious XP to spend on your character! In general\, we ask that everyone please monster two adventures for every one that they character: the entire society pulls together to try and make sure that everyone gets to have equal opportunity to have fun.

SUMMARY:Banquet
DESCRIPTION:The annual Treasure Trap Banquet\, an extravaganza of amazing food\, wonderful music\, dancing until your glass slippers turn back into pumpkins\, singing until the sun comes up (or not\, if you need your sleep)\, and a traditionally silly non-canon LARP event known as the Pre-Banquet Bash! Bunks can be booked between days\, with priority to those who really need them\, but it is very near Durham and many people simply bus back and forth. \n\n\n\n\nFriday night: Games of all tabletop varieties. Join whatever’s going around\, or bring your own! Food will not be served\, so usually a group of people order pizza.\n\n\n\nSaturday morning / afternoon: Serve it Forth\, our beloved and excellent caterers\, begin work on their incredible food and the organisers and a few volunteers decorate the great hall\, while everyone else steps out for the Pre-Banquet Bash!\n\n\n\nSaturday Evening to whenever you fall asleep: Music\, dancing\, more music\, then an incredible multi-course banquet that uses recipes from days of yore and also around the world! Followed by music and singing into the wee hours.\n\n\n\nSunday morning: TIDY-UP! We ask everyone who enjoyed Banquet to please stay and help us clear up the site! It’s not fair to dump all the tidying on the lovely people who worked like heck to make this possible; please\, before you leave\, help them out!\n\n\n\n\nA booking link will be available here soon…

SUMMARY:3YGB: Haunted Foundations
DESCRIPTION:The noble houses of Caltaire gather for a festival in a secluded summer estate. It is the first time they’ve all been together since the end of the 25 year long civil war\, brought together at the king’s invitation. They expect a weekend of extravagance\, where the elders can test how the new blood fares against each other. They will argue\, deceive\, and dig up old wounds: all to hide their own secrets in a kingdom where being caught in a lie can have grave consequences. However\, there is something else. There is something wrong with the land. These noble families will find that their past will not die as it should.Haunted Foundations is the 2027 Durham University Treasure Trap 3YGB\, our end of year event. It is a weekend long LARP where characters will be written by the ref team based on your character form submissions.
